Project: Circle | Role: UX/UI Designer | Duration: December 2021 (2 Weeks)

Circle

Circle is a responsive platform for mobile, tablet, and big screens that target all artists around the world and invite them to share artwork in the same place. Circle Platform is easy and simple for all art tasters and it gives them the chance to collect art pieces, visual graphics, illustrations, etc.. in just one click, it is also a great chance to hire talents and networking.

The Problem

Many talented artists, graphic designers, architectures, etc.. struggle to get inspired by any artwork, since they need to go to a more specialized platform. On the other hand, employees who want to hire talent, struggle to do so, both also find a lack of networking through the internet.

The Goal

Create a simple, general art platform, to help users to share, collect, hire, and create art networks in one place in just an easy and straightforward way.

Research

Because of the nature of the platform, I decided to conduct both primary and secondary research, I used my own pain points as a graphic designer, which helped me to make a survey to know my users and to help me choose users for the interviews. My interviewees were 3 participants with a different artistic backgrounds, and two hiring managers, one of my interviewees was just looking around for inspiration, both primary and secondary research helped me to conduct those interviews which at last shaped me to follow personas.

Personas

Ideation

For the ideation stage I went with two exercises, How might we and crazy eight, Since I had the time to do both and I always think that both can collaborate and give me great ideas to come up with. Considering personas and all the pain points that I concluded from interviews and emphasizing with users, the following screenshot is from the crazy eight exercise.

Iteration

After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, Moving forward to Architecture information and sitemap, I created the initial designs for Circle platform. These designs focus on the main user flow of providing an easy and straightforward way to browse artists' work and save them with one click.

To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the main user flow of browsing the content and saving artwork.
